This is a music class for beginners. You will learn to read music and play the soprano recorder.
Recorder Karate is a motivational, self-paced music curriculum designed to teach students how to play the soprano recorder through a system of increasingly difficult songs and colored “belts”. As students master new songs—judged on rhythm, note accuracy, and technique—they earn colored belts to attach to their instruments, symbolizing their progression from white to black belt.
A soprano recorder, folder, and music will be provided for each student.
