Class Description

Each week we will have guests from within our SR membership and/or the community visiting and speaking about their job field. We will learn about their education/training, the opportunities/needs within the industry, their current job/position and other jobs they have held within the field, the benefits/advantages and the downsides/drawbacks of the career, and much more. We will have a time for questions and answers and maybe even some demonstrations.

Healthcare/Health Sciences
Automotive
Culinary
Trades: Plumbing, HVAC, Welding/Mechanic, Construction, Electrician
Pastoral/Missions
Computer/Information Technology
Veterinarian
Trucking/Driving
Public Safety/Law Enforcement
Education/Childcare
Financial/Accounting
Aviation
Engineering
Insurance
Cosmetology
Agriculture/Agriscience

Class Requirements and/or Prerequisites

Students must be in the teens age group (13 years old or older)
Willingness to learn, listen, and interact respectfully with speakers and classmates. 

This class may be offered in the winter semester with additional speakers. 


Materials/Supplies Students Will Need to Bring to Class

Students should bring a notepad, folder, and a pencil or pen
each week.
We may head outside some weeks.
