For our first bee, students will be asked to spell words. No vocabulary rounds this year!

Students will have from now until the spelling bee date to study. There is a free app called “Word Club” they can use or this book is available for purchase.

In a Scripps spelling bee–you can spell all your words correctly, but the only way you truly win the bee is by spelling a challenge word correctly.

This is not an official National Scripps Bee, but it could be a test run for syncing up with them in the future! Benefits could include scholarships, larger prizes and further competitions for our winners.
